Nigerian economy can be revived through prayer – Abiara

Prophet Samuel Abiara

The General Evangelist, Christian Apostolic Church World Wide, Prophet Samuel Abiara, says Nigeria needs prayer to overcome its dwindling economy.

He said there was no other solution to the economic crisis in the country other than prayer, and enjoined leaders to be dedicated to national development.

Abiara, who spoke on Wednesday in Lagos, said some corrupt persons at the helm of affairs were responsible for the current economic woes.

He said, “Only Christ Jesus and prayer can revive the Nigerian economy and Nigerians must learn a lesson from what is going on now. We say the economy is in crisis, but the people who are in charge of the economy are corrupt people. By the grace of God and with prayers, the economy of this country will revive.

“We thank God for the new government, we thank God for what he has done so far and I urged the Federal Government to utilise the money they have recovered particularly for the benefits of our youths. Moreover, I believe God answers prayers and the only solution is prayer.”

Abiara enjoined Nigerians to come together and pray for the revival of the country from its present challenges.

“I enjoined Nigerians regardless of your position to come out for prayers,‘Divine Visitation’, which will hold at Igbogbo, Ikorodu, Lagos from August 24 to August 26. The programme is organised by the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

“The reason for the programme is for Nigerians to come together as one to prayer for our nation. We want to carry everybody along.”
