Leicester City and Arsenal are both without a win in their opening two Premier League matches after they played out a 0-0 draw at the King Power Stadium.
Premier League champions Leicester lost 2-1 on the opening weekend of the season at Hull City while Arsenal suffered a 4-3 loss at home to Liverpool.
Neither side could be separated on Saturday leaving them five points off the top of the table.
In a tight first half, Arsenal threatened to break the deadlock with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain seeing a right-footed shot flash wide before Santi Cazorla's in-swinging free kick was palmed away by goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
Up the other end, Leicester had calls for a penalty turned down by referee Mark Clattenburg when Danny Drinkwater went down in the box under a challenge by Laurent Koscielny.
Leicester saw summer signing Nampalys Mendy limp off early in the second half, but then went close when Riyad Mahrez's free kick zipped just over the crossbar.
Jamie Vardy had an opportunity to make it 1-0 after a mix-up in the Arsenal midfield but the England striker blazed high and wide.
Arsenal continued to press for an opener with Theo Walcott being denied by a superb block by defender Wes Morgan, before Mesut Ozil saw his shot saved by Schmeichel.
Leicester then had another claim for a penalty denied by Clattenburg as Ahmed Musa went down under a challenge by Hector Bellerin, and in the final seconds Petr Cech reacted smartly to save Mahrez's shot.
