Nigeria Professional Football League side, Ikorodu United will play their remaining home games this season at the MKO Abiola Stadium Abeokuta after their request was granted by the League Management Company.
The Oga Boys were expelled from their traditional Onikan Stadium Lagos by the LMC following the crowd trouble that marred their week 30 fixture against Shooting Stars.
The Theo de Jong led side were expected to return to Lagos after serving the sanction last weekend but have opted to remain at the venue.
General Manager of the club, Dele Gbajumo in a letter he sent to the Shehu Dikko led league body, stated that the club will not be able to guarantee full control and general safety at the Onikan Stadium as the fans who caused the mayhem are not known to them.
The LMC also directed the management of the club to liase with the Ogun State Football Association on how to ensure adequate crowd control and security in all their matches at the MKO Stadium.
