Some aggrieved members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State on Tuesday appointed acting executive members in replacement of the former members and the Chairman, Hon. Isaac Kekemeke.
The new executive is headed by Hon. Saka Yusuf and deputised by Hon. Tolu Babaleye.
The members were said to have taken the step following an allegation that the embattled Chairman wanted to influence the party’s governorship primary slated for August 27.
It will be recalled that the aggrieved members in the early hous of Tuesday, sealed off the party Secretariat in Akure in order to prevent the Chairman from meeting with the ward chairmen on how to allegedly influence the poll.
The new chairman, Saka Yusuf, studied History and International studies from Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko.
