'The people need mass jobs not mass weddings' - Sen Ben Bruce advises Kano govt

Commonsense Senator, Ben Murray-Bruce has reacted to the registration of 1000 women for mass weddings in Kano state.

Speaking via Social network, Murray-Bruce said, "Really sad that in this period of economic downturn some states are more engaged with mass wedding registries rather than with mass job registries! 18,000 babies are born in Nigeria everyday.

''States are seeking bailouts from the FG, businesses are closing up shop and the Naira is sliding everyday with high inflation and our priority is mass marriage! Really!!! Our priority shouldn't be facilitating mass marriages. It should be how to make our people productive enough to marry for themselves and feed their families

  1. Don't mind them. A typical Housa person likes free things that's why they still live in mud houses & represent the least developed person in Nigeria

    1000 weddings = 18000 children
18000 uneducated children = 18000 future bokoharam. And I thought the governor is educated enough to profer better ideas than to add to problem Nigeria is facing. Its always them shaaa. anybody that does not like this truth should geraraheremen!!!
