Cristiano Ronaldo has been reveling in Portugal’s Euro 2016 victory, but doesn’t seem to have forgotten about his teammates’ efforts.
The 30-year-old was awarded the competition’s Silver Boot after managing three goals and three assists for his country, although he didn’t hold on to it for long.
After the match he gave it to fellow former Manchester United star Nani, in a great show of support for the man who led the side after he went off injured in the final against France.
Nani also scored three goals in the tournament, but only managed one assist to miss out on winning the second-place prize.
Regularly portrayed as a selfish player, Ronaldo may have proved a few critics wrong with this gift to his compatriot.
