Rumours have been flying in that Popular yoruba movie actress/ producer Lola Alao has converted from Christianity to islam, and she took to social media yesterday to make an announcement to confirm the speculations.
Her words below...

And what is the fuse about her joining Islam? I don't know when you people will stop this religious fanaticism. Do you read your bible or Koran at all. Islam and Christian are the same religion being practiced in different ways. May I ask, who is the head of Islam and who is the head of Christianity? Is Isaac and Ishmel not sons of the same father though different mothers? I always admire the humility these two leaders of faith displayed when Abraham died. The oness,the love, the unity. Isaac left their dead father Abraham and went to look for his brother, Ishmel. And when he saw him, he said, my brother, our father is dead. And what happened, Ishmel left whatever he was doing and went down with his brother Isaac, and the two BROTHERS went and unitedly buried their father. So now tell me, are these two religions not two brothers. Pls and pls, let their be peace amongst us. Stop religious fanaticism, it can't take us anywhere rather than hatred.

Have u ever seen any Christian in any of the terrorist groups that has killed soooooo many innocent people! It is only Islams that would kill just after prayers from the mosque(if anyone remembers the latest incident)....

I will rather have a revised book with many editions and versions whose all content preaches peace and harmony than have an indilluted, unrevised book whose content preaches hate, discord, violence, terrorism, intolerance and so on. May God forgive all the irregularities in Islam and show all the followers the true way of life.
