IN PICTURES: Amaechi, Oyegun inspect Abuja-Kaduna rail line ahead of Buhari's commissioning

In preparation for commissioning on Tuesday by President Muhammadu Buhari the Minister of Transportation, Mr Chubuike Amaechi yesterday went on inspection tour of the Abuja-Kaduna rail line and was ambushed by the passengers while on inspection he could not but submit to the plea of the passengers who were at the stations.



Ameachi led a team of All Progressives Congress (APC) with the National Chairman of Chief John Odigie Oyegun, on the inspection tour.

    1. Why should he be ashamed abeg? Is he not Nigerian? The funds used in initiating the project, were they Jonathan's private money? You should be happy we are moving beyond petty politics, where the new administration is not holding back on developmental projects out sheer political nonsensicality.

Amaechi be bold to let Nigerians know that the said project was actually GEJ project but unfortunately he couldn't commission same before leaving office. because this project couldn't have been done by APC lead government when 2016 budget is still hanging with more padding figures been discovered every-now and then. #regsinationrocknasover2016budget#

  9. The project was initiated by Obasanjo in 2006 continued by YarAdua/GEJ & completed by Bihari.

  10. APC and their supporters berated GEJ's rail project during the presidential campaign. They promised giving us world class rails and trains. Today they are commissioning same underated project. We are still waiting for the world class rails. Government of deceits.
