Former Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh has bluntly stated that he no longer has any relationship with Nigeria Football Federation President Amaju Pinnick.
Oliseh resigned from his post as Super Eagles head coach in February citing unpaid wages and a lack of support from the NFF.
Although the wage dispute has not been resolved, with Oliseh and the NFF making different claims, Pinnick has insisted he and Oliseh are in good terms.
Oliseh has however denied it.
“Contrary to the false assertions being spread by Mr Amaju Pinnick, we are in no way close & I have avoided all contacts since my Resignation!” Oliseh tweeted on Sunday.
The NFF are expected to announce Oliseh’s permanent replacement on Monday, with Frenchman Paul Le Guen favourite to get the job.
