The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) met behind closed-doors last night at the Old Banquet of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The meeting was after the Fedeal Executive Council meeting yesterday
The meeting, which started at 8.00pm til late night.
It was presided over by the chairman of the forum, Governor Abdulaziz Yari of Zamfara State.
Dailytrust gathered that the meeting was called to review the state of the nation’s economy.
Governors who attended the meeting included those of Abia, Gombe, Niger, Bauchi, Kebbi, Kaduna, Ogun, Delta, Kano, Sokoto, Adamawa, and Katsina States.
The governors of Rivers, Imo, Borno, Ondo, Ekiti, Enugu, Cross River and Ebonyi States were represented by their deputies.
