Alphonsus Dike, Technical Adviser of Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL side, Heartland Football Club of Owerri has resigned from his post.
Dike, who took over from Bethel Orji after match-day nine games, tendered his notice of resignation dated July 18, 2016 to the General Manager of the club, Oscar Keke on July 18.
In the notice of resignation which was copied to the chairman of the club, Rt. Hon. Ugonna Ozuruigbo, Deputy Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly and duly handed over to him July 18, Dike cited sabotage by management of the Naze Millionaires as reason for his departure with 11 matches remaining on the NPFL fixtures.
In the notice of resignation, Dike, who won the club's last league trophy in 1993 following a 2-0 defeat of El-Kanemi Warriors in Maiduguri same day Insurance dispatched Rangers 5-0 in Benin on the final day of the season, accused management of the club of contractual breaches.
He also accused the hierarchy of the club of not providing him the enabling environment to work.
"Recall that I've been paying my transport fare to all our away matches so far in the league," Dike said in the resignation letter.
Dike who is owed two months salary, excluding the month of July, accused the management of the club of not implementing his technical report and recommendations after the first stanza of the league.
"The management recruited and signed players that I never recommended nor had input during the mid season.
"They also sold key players of the club during the transfer window without my notice and approval,"
the former Rangers, Enyimba and Nasarawa United gaffer alleged in his resignation letter.
