Chinedu Obasi’s comeback has been thrown into doubt, after he walked out of Nowergian club, Lillestrom.
The 30-year-old, whose career has been ravaged by injuries, was released by Bundesliga club Schalke 04 last year, and has been training with Lillestrom for more than a month.
He has yet to be offered a contract, despite reports he was close to signing for them. Frustrated by the club’s hesitation, the forward who played for Nigeria at the 2010 World Cup, has left.
“He left without any notice, in short he disappeared,” a source informed AfricanFootball.com
