President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday commended a Kano-based businessman, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, for his numerous philanthropic gestures.
He lauded Dantata for his gifts of the lying-in-ward, inclusive of Amenity Rooms and the recent Intensive Care Unit, built and equipped to international standards, at the National Orthopedic Hospital, Dala, Kano State.
According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, the President lauded the businessman in a letter of commendation dated July 15, 2016. “These gestures are practical demonstrations of your deep-seated concern for the wellbeing of Nigerians. You are, indeed, a source of hope and inspiration for the nation,” Buhari wrote.
The President also expressed the profound gratitude of the government and people of Nigeria to Dantata, for his “significant contributions to national unity and national renewal,” while also praying Allah to bless him in his business endeavours.
