The Technical and Development Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation will interview Frenchman Paul Le Guen on Monday via long-distance voice and video call application Skype for the Super Eagles job, according to Completesportsnigeria.
A top source revealed that the NFF have no funds to fly in the two foreigners who are on the final shortlist for the interview – Le Guen and Tom Saintfeit – and have since settled for an interview online.
“The NFF have concluded plans to interview Le Guen via Skype at the secretariat on Monday and meet with Salisu Yusuf in person before forwarding the name of the successful candidate to the NFF Board,” the source informed Completesportsnigeria.
Le Guen remains the favourite to land the job ahead of caretaker coach Salisu Yusuf after Belgian Saintfiet was appointed coach Bangladesh on Friday.
If appointed Le Guen will become the third Frenchman to coach the Super Eagles after Les Courtier and Philippe Troussier.
Le Guen, 52, a former French international, has had coaching stints with Rennes, Lyon, PSG, Rangers and Cameroon, who he took to the 2010 World Cup.

No fund to fly them down to Nigeria how then can NFF pay if one of them is finally appointed. You guys should stick with local coach and learn to help and support them to do more. Not to celebrate them when they are gone ( Dead )
