Appeal Court reinstates use of hijab in Lagos schools

The Lagos Division of the Court of Appeal has reversed the judgment of a Lagos State High Court in Ikeja which on October 17, 2014 banned the use of hijab in Lagos State public primary and secondary schools.


The appellate declared in a unanimous judgment on Thursday that the ban was discriminatory against Muslim pupils in the state.

    ALLAHU AKBAR. Truth cannot die and will always finally prevail. This does not in any way affect any christian or Christianity. The two religions welcomes the idea of women covering their heads when going out.

    what is all these sudden awareness on the use of Hijab by muslims all over Nigeria? how does it solve our economic problems or put food on the table of the numerous Nigerians who cannot feed 3 square meals daily? We all need to be careful !

      Since, the use of Hijab does not affect us in anyway let us pretend as if it does exist. Let's ignore it as we ignore Sharia law.

    May God avert the impending Religion war that may greet this Hijab madness...There is more to it than meeting mere eyes...Person need to pray to save this Nation already in precipice,as Buhari and his APC have undisputedly failed completely...Well,as events are unfolding...
