While delivering his welcome address, the National President, association of senior civil servants of Nigeria and also the president, Trade union congress of Nigeria, Comrade Bobboi Bala Kaigama said that the association might wage a solidarity war against the states that are unable to pay worker’s salaries in the coming weeks.

The president further demanded that the federal government should kick start the process of paying workers at the federal level all their owned entitlements.

He also called on the federal government to set up the negotiating platform that will negotiate a new national minimum wage in line with the recommendation of the palliative committee.

  2. While I agreed with you to some extent, the investment base of Ogun is incomparable to some states. However, he bane of most states is corruption.

  3. The problem is not the states not worthy to exist but the governor not worthy to be a governor. Abia workers especially the Local Govt workers have suffered hardship for nine years now. T.A. Orji the worst governor on Earth has handed over the same wickedness to Ikpeazu and for 4 months now salaries have not been paid both to state and local govt workers. No Pension has been paid since January 2016. That is why Abians voted against Ikpeazu in order remove the hand of T A Orji from anything about Abia State. Yet they are using our salaries to get judgement in court in their favour while Abians are suffering. Please for God's sake let the judges remove Ikpeazu so that Abians can heave a sigh of relief. Otherwise, Ikpeazu will continue to serve T A Orji and his former co-governor in the person of his son.
