On the issue of economy, the Deputy President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Pastor Paul Adefarasin noted that the country’s economy is in prison and it must be released.

Citing biblical story of Paul and Sila, he insisted the door of the prison where Nigeria Economy is being held must be opened on its own accord, for Nigerians to rejoice in their lands.

“Nigeria economy seems to be in prison. Like in the case of Paul and Sila in the bible, they were being held in the prison, but the doors of prison were opened on its own accord.

After tonight, we expect the glory of God in Nigeria,” he said. Also, the President of PFN, Rev. Felix Omobude prayed that for wisdom, knowledge and understanding from God for those who are steering the wheel of the country’s economy, calling on God to swallow those who are sabotaging “our economy”.

“Those who have made it their stock in trade to run against economic policy of this nation be run out of business,” he prayed. Some members of the congregation, who spoke to Vanguard expressed satisfaction for the programme, describing it as best and the first step that must be taken in “this our situation”.

They said the whole situation in the country had gone worst that only “God could turn the fortune of Nigeria around for good, and that is why we are calling on Him to show us mercy and restore our land. And we believed that He has heard us.”
