“She must go! Ole! Ole! Ole!," civil servants urge Buhari to sack finance minister

Some workers locked the main gate of the ministry of finance on Monday, and prevented Kemi Adeosun, the minister, from entering her office.

NE earlier reported that civil servants were protesting poor welfare packages from the ministry of finance.

The placard-wielding protesters called for her immediate removal, accusing her of not paying their allowances.

They chanted: “She must go! She must go! Olee! Ole! Ole! Ole!.”

‎Some of the inscriptions on their placards were: ‘PMB is an agent of change, Kemi Adeosun is an agent of negative change,’‎ ‘you are destroying federal ministry of finance madam kemi adeosun’,‎ ‘Kemi Adeosun must go,’ ‘Inflation is 15 percent courtesy of Kemi Adeosun’s incompetence’, ‘Adeosun’s score card is F9’.

Sighting the police, the protesters quickly locked up the exit gate of the building to prevent the security personnel from entering.  ‎

‎The workers later went from one office after another to chase out those who refused to join them in the protest.

Attempts to get the comments of the leaders of the protest were unsuccessful as they declined to speak.

Heavy anti-riot policemen were at the main gate of the building as of the time of filling this report was filed.

  1. When humanbeing is used to something whether legal or illegal, it is difficult to stop such things.

But it is as most of the Civil Servants in Nigeria do not know that no Patriotic Nigerian appreciates the role their playing in destroying our systems. Though most of politicians are selfish, none of them act in any Ministry without the support of Civil Servants.

So, let woman do her jobs and return to your various offices or your houses.

They better embrace it or delete themselves to allow more competent and patriotic citizens to do the job. Madam, don't mind these corrupt indolent dudes

  6. These crop of political Civil servants see the change mantra of this administration as continuing in the old way of doing things. They find it difficult to adapt to the new era. Madam, ignore these analog workers who had helped politicians to destroy this nation. Anyone not comfortable with the proper way of doing things should throw in the towel to all more patriotic and honest Nigerians to do the job. Don't let these corrupt political civil servants arm-twist you. They'll be the ones to turn around and accuse you of corruption tomorrow. They better get reformed of be deformed. President Buhari should ignore these corrupt civil servants
