No fewer than 19 candidates seeking enlistment into the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, in the ongoing nationwide recruitment have been arrested by the Adamawa State Police Command.
They were arrested for being in possession of fake results.
This disclosure was made known by the Command’s spokesperson, Othman Abubakar, on Wednesday in Yola, the state capital.
Speaking with newsmen, he said, “We have arrested 19 of them for result falsification and they have been charged to court.
“The police are not a dumping ground and anyone who tries to play smart will face the music,” the spokesperson said, warning persons trying to use fake results to join the force to have a rethink.
He said, “It is no longer business as usual.”
