Now a tweet from Gov Obiano's official twitter account that links to a statement on a website announcing the appointment - described Mark as a '30-yr-old young and sound boy'. The term 'boy' attracted the attention of twitter users who found it condescending.

His Excellency has just done a great job. Kudos to u and your Team members on that laudable move. Is a thing to emulate by other states to justify the axiom that says that YOUTHS ARE OUR FUTURE LEADERS. Let not the choice of the word by his Excellency 'OLD BOY' blinds our eyes on the good job done. After all, His Excellency added OLD to the word BOY means that the 'old Boy' is starting to become a 'young man'.
