Nigeria midfielder Sani Kaita has been released by FC IfeanyiUbah to join a club of his choice.
The former Sparta Rotterdam player said that he got his clearance papers on Wednesday and hailed club owner Ifeanyi Ubah and the club management for this gesture.
"I have been given my release paper by IfeanyiUbah,” he disclosed.
“I am happy about this development and thank them for this gesture.
"I wish them well in the league."
Kaita, who has been linked with a move to JS Hercules in Finland, said he cannot say anything about the move now until he has spoken with coach Daniel Amokachi.
"I can’t say much on the Finland deal now, I have to talk to coach Amokachi to know the next line of action," he said.
