Euro 2016:Portugal edge Croatia 1-0 in extra time
After 116 minutes without a goal, Ricardo Quaresma emerged the hero for Portugal as he scored the winning goal late in extra-time as Portugal beat Croatia 1-0 on Saturday.
The two sides played out a dull affair in which neither team mustered a shot on target until Quaresma rushed in to head over the line in the 117th minute.
Croatia had just strick the post at the other end but failed to convert the danger, allowing the Seleccao to lunge forward with a counter attack.
