Consequently, the committee said it has summoned all relevant stakeholders who took part in the election. The petitions were received from Barrister Kenneth Imansuagbon and Engr. Chris Ogienmwonyi.
“We confirm as a committee that we have received two petitions, and the national chairman of the party was also copied, and the party has given us the go ahead and a freehand to conduct our sittings.
“We also have gotten in touch with the two aspirants who sent in their petitions to explain their position, you know, and the timing of our sitting and by the grace of God, both of them would also be appearing before us tomorrow (Wednesday).
And definitely, all issues raised in their petitions would be addressed, you know there is nothing to be agitated about. It is also normal for people to feel aggrieved”, Bamidele said.
He affirmed that the issues raised in the petition were similar to what was addressed by the two petitioners in their press conference on Monday.
He also said that stakeholders concerned with the exercise including Governor Aminu Masari, who chaired the primary panel would be invited.
