The Federal Government, Monday, said it is considering scaling down military operations in the offensive against Niger Delta militants for about two weeks to allow for dialogue with the militants and other aggrieved groups in the region.
Addressing newsmen in Abuja, Mr. Ibe Kachikwu, called on the militants to shelve violence, sheathe their weapon and embrace dialogue with government. He said the planned suspension of military offensive is to allow for individuals in the creeks to converge for the dialogue. ReplyDeleteBaba Buhari should not mind all those political opportunists and wolves in sheep skin who abound in APC. They do not mea. Well for the country. This problem should have been amicably sorted out before it gets to this level but some politicians who benefit from crisis always instigate crisis for their own selfish gains. Peace is always a road to progress. But APC as a party has disappointed me.
ReplyDeleteLet's wait and allow them to launch their missile first. How I wish that any government will use this oil money to harness our iron and steel industry for us so that next time we can also hold any coward government like this. O boy see millions coming just to take arms and destroy government installations and institutions. Another group will soon come up. God dey sha.

ReplyDeleteHow I wish FG will bomb the entire creek as sambisa. Insurance on the oil facilities will be used to rebuilt it, at that point Nigeria will be in reset mode, then we begin afresh by exploring other economic opportunities Like solid mineral ie Gold,Iron Ore,columbite,Tin bauxite all in the North, agriculture ( crop production and Livestock) all in the north, oil exploitation in Chad basin but we will not do the mistake of Niger Delta, we will protect and conserve the environment like UAE. We will allow the Niger delta enjoy some level of appreciation in derivation formula from 13% to 20 to curb the rabid dog madness in the jungle.
