Nigeria’s foremost indigenous major marketer of refined petroleum products, Forte Oil Plc, on Wednesday, refuted reports abuzz on social media that it reduced its pump price of Premium Motor Spirit to N115 per litre.
In a terse statement via its Twitter handle @ForteOilNg, the firm said: “Our attention has been drawn to a reduction in price to 115 NGN at our gas stations, This is false. “Forte Oil Plc would use its official handles to inform its customers and the buying public of any price change.
We therefore inform our customers and the buying public to ignore these false rumours as they are untrue and we disassociate ourselves from same.” Forte, owned by Nigerian Billionaire, Femi Otedola, is a foremost indigenous major marketer of refined petroleum products with a strong presence in the thirty-six states of Nigeria and Abuja.
