He went further to accuse the British government of helping Nigeria's looters hide their funds in the UK.
Melaye also claimed that the Britain helped to institutionalize corruption in Nigeria by helping to rig the first general election in the country.

ReplyDeleteSenator Dino Melaye shud have told dem the British are not clean either, and that they started sea robbery (piracy) later they graduated to the lucrative trade of dealing in human cargo called slave trade ,which was later abolished by Sir Willian Willberfore an Evangelical Christian who headed the parliamentary campaign against the British slave trade for twenty years until the passage of the Slave Trade Act of 1807. The British later started colonizing oversea territories by force of arms. In pre colonial times, the British will simply come into any Africa territory and make the inhabitants to sign trade treaty ceding your goods to them, if you complain they will send u on exile. ,, ask Oba Ovaremen of Benin, or ask King Jaja of Opobo etc.. the British were like a thief in the night, roaming the nooks and cranies of a vast continent, looking for gold, Ask me, what Mr Mungo Park was doing in rapids of the river Niger in Bussa area, that made him drown, .who told Henry Morton Stanley there were large diamond and gold deposits in South Africa,,the parasites were turning the whole Africa upside down searching for minerals to build their country, why were they trying to kill king Shaka the Zulu?
