The reports have it that Tinubu is refusing to repay a N1billion loan gotten from Atiku during the 2015 elections. The loan was reportedly used to finance the APC presidential campaign with a promise to repay immediately after the elections.
An inside source who spoke anonymously about the loan said, “Both men have managed to keep the issue out of the media space because of the sensitive nature, but there is a strong bone of contention between them. The issue is that Tinubu obtained a loan of N1 billion from Atiku during the 2015 presidential campaign and promised to repay the loan after the elections, but he’s not even ready to talk about it now and Atiku is sore pissed. ''
