The Obaro of Kabba and Chairman, Okun Area Traditional Council of Kogi State, Oba Michael Folorunsho Olobayo, has died at the age of 71.
The Obadofin of Oweland, Oba Michael Yusuf who is second in command to the late Obaro, made the announcement yesterday.
The Obaro who spent over 30 years on the throne, joined his ancestors following a protracted illness.
The late Oba was a graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he studied History.
He was a district officer and rose to the pinnacle of civil service before he was called to the throne as the Obaro of Kabba on October 17, 1985.
