The nationwide strike embarked on by the Nigerian Labour Congress NLC was massively success in Taraba state as all ministries in the state and public schools were closed.
The state university, Taraba state university non academic staff complied with the strike.
It was also gathered that the leadership of NLC in the state under the chairmanship Mr. Peter Gembo were picketing some offices that were open at the early hours of the day.
The streets of Jalingo were silent as many people remain indoor.
