Manchester United have unveiled the club's new away kit on Wednesday.
The shirts are based on what Adidas calls a 'collegiate blue' colour scheme, with red trim for the club crest and the manufacturer's signature three stripes along the shoulders.Manchester United's home kit remains a mystery and, reflecting on the players' excitement evident in these promotional shots, one wonders how they'll contain themselves until its launch.
Fans will be optimistic, too, at the appearance of David De Gea in next season's get-up - though this commitment may yet prove insufficient to keep the top-rated Spanish goalkeeper at Old Trafford.
De Gea looks noticeably more glum than his teammates in the initial away-kit photoshoot - perhaps foreseeing how much more work he'll have to do in it than the rest of the squad.
