Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state has said that the ongoing attack by Fulani herdsmen may not be unconnected with the 2019 elections.
Speaking on Politics Today, a programme on Channels TV, Fayose said, ''Security is worse than ever. People will wake up and say they're herdsmen and level an entire community under the watch of Mr President''
''Something will happen somewhere, three to four people will die, you'll leave where a community was wiped out and go and be greeting three people''
''They have improved in the tackling of boko haram menace but it is currently being replaced by herdsmen. Sometimes i ask myself are these people truly herdsmen? We should ask questions o. People that used to carry stick to drive cows are now carrying AK 47, this is how Boko haram started. Who are those behind them? I am beginning to think this is another strategy to be used for 2019 ''

ReplyDeleteAnonymous 10:32 Fayose is not the president of Nigeria, and herdsmen have not invaded Ekiti, people are vested with the responsibility of handling that and the eastern part of the country is now standing firm to defend themselves, and that is how Ekiti people would stand up to defend themselves if attacked, but what is presently the problem of Ekiti is our salaries and Governor Ayo Fayose owe his workers a duty to pay their Salaries, it is walking into the fifth month and you are leaving what is suppose to concern you to go and do the president job for him? may be you are not a salary earner or you don't have family that comes home to ask you for food and school fee that is why you are talking daft, I blame the internet that have given you the Audacity to talk back at people that are crying for their right, come to Ekiti and open your mouth and say what you are saying online then you would see our reaction, forget the cosmetic reaction you get online ok Ogbeehhh!
