The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Court has ordered the Federal Government of Nigeria to justify the detention of Sambo Dasuki, Nigeria's former National Security Adviser (NSA) under 24 hours.
The detained retired army officer was also ordered to make out his case against government challenging his detention since December last year in one day.
Presiding judge of the regional court, Justice Friday Chijioke Nwoke, gave the order in Abuja Tuesday at the resumed hearing in a legal action instituted by Mr. Dasuki to challenge his alleged unlawful detention, unlawful seizure of properties and infringement on his fundamental rights to freedom of liberty.

DeleteHave you ever hear dasuki speaks about this alligations? There must be a reason why govt don't want him to speak to the press. Remember dasuki was the officer that was ordered by babangida to put buhari in jail in 1985
ReplyDeleteeven if Dasuki is guilty, buhari must bring his proof. U dnt just accuase somebody without proof. Let him be tried and if he is convicted, then, he is guilty. Buhari just lucked him up without trial? For what? We are not in militrt era pls. The accused is still innoceng untill proven guilty.
