Following yesterday’s violent clash between pro-Biafra activists and security agents, the Deputy Senate President, Chief Ike Ekweremadu has expressed concern over the excesses of security operatives in handling protests.
Moving a motion through Order 43 of the Senate Standing Rules, the lawmaker condemned the killing of protesters by troops and urged all those involved in maintaining peace and order to be responsible enough in doing that.
“Mr Senate President, Distinguished Colleagues, you recall that major Newspapers headlines today showed killing of protesters in major parts of the South East especially those that concern the future of this Country and I urge Security Agents to be responsible”, Ekweremadu said.

Even for that alone, God will bless him and his family and he will live to see a free BIAFRA. Amen

ReplyDeleteThat is the most you will hear from igbo leaders jare. They are cowards and fear loosing favour and contracts. The easiest people to massacre in Nigeria are igbos. They carry no violence and nobody in power will dare speak for them. They can be dumped in river niger by the millions and all you will get at best is a weak speach like this one. Igbo leaders are the cheapest political prostitutes.
