Amnesty Boss Relocates to the Creeks to Dialogue with Avengers

The special adviser to the President on Niger Delta and Coordinator of the Niger Delta Presidential Amnesty Programme, Brigadier General P.T. Boroh (Rtd), from all indications has relocated to the creeks of the region. This might not be unconnected to the recent activities of the Niger Delta Avengers.

According to a source, who simply identified himself as “Andy Spiff” claimed that the Amnesty Boss was sighted having interactions in Rivers, Delta and Edo states on the same day.

The source noted: “over the past couple of days, Gen Boroh has had various meetings with ex agitators and beneficiaries of the amnesty programme in the region. This vigorous touring might be evidence of the Federal Governments readiness to dialogue with the Avengers.”

It would be recalled that the Niger Delta Avengers have been targeting oil and gas
installations in the region, in a bid to cripple the economy and bring the
Buhari led federal government to its knees. How the strategy of the retired
General will play out, is something the whole country will be eager to find out.

  1. Everyone will suffer it.
Those that throw stones into the market place should also know that their family members are in the market.

If they have enough money to live outside after the destruction, they should also remember that their family are still left behind in the country whom their life depend on the same resources.....
    What goes around comes around

Let us see how far it will go.

  3. The oil must flow. It is why we say one Nigeria. Oil blocks must be renewed with the same allocations or one Nigeria will be a waste of time.
