TV host, lifestyle writer and ex-wife to Nigerian artist 9ice, Toni Payne has taken to her Twitter page to share her thoughts about the Linda Ikeji and Wizkid fued and also the recent involvement of the Lagos state commisioner of Police into the matter.
In a series of Tweets Toni Payne attacked the blogger for pretending to hide under the gender quality and women rights card in the Wizkid duel when she has taken to her blog to cyber-bully several Nigerian female entertainers that she had issues with.
She listed celebrity/celebrity wives like Lola Omotayo, Toke Makinwa, Tonto Dikeh, the late Goldie and even herself, who she has attacked in the past with her blog.
Toni Payne also Tweeted about how Linda Ikeji put up a false story about the legendary son of Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti and the many lies she reported about his private life.

ReplyDeleteHonestly, this Linda's issue was in my thoughts all night like a glue on paper. I'm particularly taken by the huge ignorance of Nigerians and I'm moved to tears when I read comments that support her legal actions without their verifications of the source of the saga. He who must come to equity must do so with clean hands. Writing all sort about people and profiting from their losses and defaming their character is the highest disservice to humanity. Linda can never get married in this life or the life to come, she would make her money but that would be all. If all she knows how to do is write stories whether verified or not, private and secret stories about people exposing them like she's some DSS or EFCC and then says she's a blogger, destroying homes and revealing what people are struggling about to the world without sense of decorum. I'm waiting to see the police approach to this. I don't believe wizkid comment holds waters. He made his comments out of sheer frustrations of Linda. Let's not form holy holy. We all have made uncouth comments when angry especially when incited by devils like Linda Ikeji. Take for example her false revelations about Femi Kuti, Goldie, Toni Payne and a host of others. These are unforgettable emotional trauma for her victims. Nigerians should get facts before taken to comments in support of Linda all because she can write. Unmarried she shall remain. Amen. Which husband will even marry that one when after anybl small thing she will take him to court for a minor thing they can resolve in the house. Linda you're an outcast.
