One group of protesters are calling for the removal of Senator President, Bukola Saraki while the others are protesting in solidarity with the Senate President.
The Anti-Saraki protesters have reportedly attacked the pro-Saraki protesters destroying their banners.
Apart from demanding the resignation of the Senate President, one of the leaders of the Anti-Saraki protesters also made the following demands:
“...the senate return the sports utility vehicles it bought for N35.1m each.”
“We are demanding that the national assembly stop toying with the laws of the country for its own interest,” he said.
“We are asking that they stop playing politics with the budget, and scrap constituency projects because they are fraud. We demand that the national assembly make open its N150bn budget for all Nigerians to see.”
The protesters have vowed not to back down until their demands are met.
