Why demote and transfer him. The best punishment is promote Anifat Bello and ask the DPO to take over Anifat job. That is the best punishment for him. So next time he learn how to respect women.
ReplyDeleteSacked not demoted would have been the most appropriate decision. He'll do worse than what he did now next
ReplyDeletePerfect suggestion, not only women, but to respect people generally. That is the useless leadership in Nigeria. People that require high purnisment usually get nothing or less so that another time they can do worse. He was supposed to be sacked, or given the traffic wording position to resume immediately. Very poor judgement.
ReplyDeleteIn a place where their is laws abiding the country..... i see no reason why the DPO should be demoted and transfer for GOD SAKE. let him just face the court and they should judge is case in a favourable manner.GOD HELP NIGERIAN
ReplyDeleteFair judgement from our dear Police Force. Try to keep it up to reduce impunity in the Force...and make Nigeria better for us all. Well,as events are unfolding...
ReplyDeleteU call this a fair judgement. Would this have been allied assuming the dpo is a civilian. What happened to dismissal and prosecution. Battery is a grave offence especially on a female law enforcement agent.
DeleteSo the case didn't even get to court. Where is the Ogun state attorney general? What is he doing? that former dpo should be charged to court and if found guilty of battery, made to pay the fine. Then the police force should SACK him straight
ReplyDeleteHe should be sacked, prosecuted for assault and sexual harassment. He is a disgrace to the Police and men folk.
ReplyDeleteBe relieve of his post without benefits.
ReplyDeleteDenoting and transferring him is an encouragement to others to engage in such stupid act because after all they would only be demoted.where has all your sack letters gone
ReplyDeleteEnter your comment... this is never fair judgement at all cos i know what would 've been done to any civilian involed in such crime
