Photos: Unilag students jump school gates, cross canal as school closes indefinately

Earlier today, NigerianEye reported that the management of the University of Lagos asked the university students go home, following incessant nationwide fuel and power shortage.

The students were given the ultimatum of 10:00 am this morning, Friday 8th of April 2016, to vacate the school premises.

However the University of Lagos student union (ULSU) blasted the school authorities for giving them a very short notice to vacate the school hostels, and started a protest within the school premises.

As at press time, NigerianEye gathered that the school gates were locked despite the school order, forcing the students to jump the school gates, while others also had to pass through a canal within the school to find their way out of the school premises.

The story is still developing, NigerianEye will provide more details later
