I am beginning to wonder why authorities in charge of haulage are not taking seriously to take into account the importance of scrutinizing trucks on highways by measuring and costing to determine safe and maintainence of road usage by heavy trucks. I remember the old good days in this country that things like haulage, weightand measures are priorities of government to determine the safe of people and highways to access the capacity of goods to ply our roads to avert potholes and damaged roads like what is being witnessed at Ikeja overloaded truck. Authorities concerned, please take note.
