Former Arsenal goal keeper Jens Lehmann is on the verge of losing a Champions League record.
Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas is closing in on Lehmann's Champions League shut-out record.
The German kept clean sheets for ten consecutive games during Arsenal's march to the final in 2006.
Lehmann was famously sent off after 18 minutes of the final — without conceding a goal — before finally succumbing in stoppage time of the opening game of the 2006-07 season.
Hamburg scored a late consolation as Arsenal won 2-1 in Germany — meaning the run ended on 853 minutes.
Navas is currently on 720 minutes without shipping in a goal, and would beat the record should Real Madrid keep clean sheets home and away in their upcoming quarter-final with Wolfsburg.
