Here is How APC is Redirecting Nigeria – Tinubu

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) discussed about the political party, APC, Muhammadu Buhari administration, fuel scarcity among other things in a recent interview.

Tinubu said: “Nigerians do not want to continue to import toothpick. We can make toothpick out of our bamboo trees. Nigerians don’t want to continue to import rice or plastic and call them frozen chicken”.

“Nigerians don’t want to continue to import apple. What did the PDP leave after 16 years? What did they leave in our account? Why should certain things that we bring into this country become our priority? These are things APC government is ready to make work in Nigeria. Through agriculture, we can stimulate and encourage starch that we are using for our cloths; we can produce the textiles here”, he said.

“Why do we have to bring in all those things that we can produce? Why can’t we do it ourselves? The disease needs a very serious surgical operation, redirection, good and steady hands and very honest Nigerians and that is what Buhari is providing”, Tinubu added.

  2. This kinda of economic plan should be implemented in stages over a given development period of 20years , a la ,vision 2020 of late President Yar adua, i.e. you import and at same time you encourage local manufacturing with good incentives coupled with massive orientation of the masses towards on benefit of Made in Nigeria..
You dont just stop it at once ,it is the masses that will feel the pinch and not you Tinoombu,..

  4. Continue to politics, increase light bill, celebrate birthday and make fuel unavailable, continue to blame PDP for your weakness and suffering of the masses. You are making noise instead of providing basic amenities. Nigerians never suffered this much, you need repentance and. Genuine love.

  7. You. People should stop deceiving yourselves, what does all that got to do with scarcity of fuel, power outage. You want to start production and manufacturing with zero mega Watt which has never happened in the history of this country. You want to build a house without foundation. Almost a year in power, what has APC government done as a sign to prove Nigerian of your good plans, order than turning the entire nation in to confusion and hardships. A pray God should deliver us from the manipulation of devil incarnate.

  10. Fools how do you ogogoro with water? Comparing USA with Nigeria smacks of madness. How do you create job opportunities? Is it by creating jobs for Chinese in their factories? We are confused people who cry devalue! Devalue the naira yet insist on importing very basic things that can be produced here.
My office distributed made in Nigeria rice last Xmas. Initially I felt disgusted but cooked it out of curiosity and I can testify that its quality is better than the rubbish we import. Local production is the way to go. If crude oil are refined by private sector and the so called illegal refiners are regulat ed fuel scarcity will disappear
