Enyimba win nail-bitting penalty shootout, qualify for CAF Champions League group stage

Nigeria's will be represented at this year's CAF Champions League group stage after Enyimba FC of Aba secured a dramatic 4-3 penalty-shootout victory over Tunisian opponents, Etoile Sportive du Sahel.
Enyimba needed penalties to see off hosts Etoile du Sahel and book their place in the group stage of the Caf Champions League after a 3-3 aggregate score at the Stade Olympique de Sousse on Wednesday, with goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai three consecutive saves from 12 yards the difference.
The game ending 7-6 on aggregate. Enyimba go into today’s second leg, second round clash with a 3-0 advantage from the first leg which saw the competition’s top scorer, Mfon Udoh weigh in with a hat-trick.
