Cristiano Ronaldo has been included in the Real Madrid squad for Tuesday's Champions League semifinal first leg at Manchester City.
Both Ronaldo and Benzema are recovering from injury problems, with their availability to coach Zinedine Zidane likely to remain in doubt until close to kick-off.
Portugal captain Ronaldo missed Saturday's La Liga game at Rayo Vallecano with a muscle problem and his fitness remains in question for the City clash.
Speaking on Friday, Zidane said: "We did the scans and he has nothing serious, but he cannot play tomorrow. Then we will see about Tuesday."
Benzema limped off before half-time against Rayo with an apparent hamstring problem, but Zidane said: "I hope it's nothing and he can play on Tuesday -- but right now I can't tell you."
Real defender Dani Carvajal returns to the squad after being rested against Rayo.
Meanwhile, Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure missed training on Monday after picking up a thigh problem against Stoke and faces a battle to be in Manuel Pellegrini's lineup.
