The auditor was allegedly kidnapped Saturday last week, by Fulani herdsmen along the lonely Nsukka-Adani express road while returning from a town hall meeting at Ukpabi community.
According to reports, Ogbobe Stephen, with five others, ran into a road block mounted by herdsmen around 4pm.
The herdsmen initially demanded for N5m ransom on Sunday, then reduced it to N1.5m the next day, before collecting N700,000 ransom for the release of the auditor.

All these kidnap stories always look imbalance or incomplete. A stack illiterate Fulaniman in the bush that cannot operate bank account, just of a sudden demand such amount of money, then get paid before the release of the kidnapee, lets think about it
