In a chat with newsmen in Ikwo local government area of the State, comrade Ogah who accused prominent Igbo leaders in the past administrations in the country of marginalising and diverting democracy dividend meant for those within the South East zone.
Ogah who is also the National Coordinator of Buhari/ Osibanjo Initiative For Demonstrating Change in Nigeria further accused them of being greedy, selfish and unpatriotic towards their fellow south easterners.
He urged those presently in the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari’s government to make sure that they use their positions to better the lot of their people.
“All the Governors in the South East zone should decamp to APC so that they can benefit from the present administration; the challenge facing the south east is type of leaders they had in previous administrations. Tell me how some of them were able to assist their people while in position”.
He called on politicians and the people of the south East zone to learn to live together and avoid politics of bitterness, rancour and vendetta.

Must they decanp to apc before delivering the dividends of democracy to their people?
ReplyDeleteComrade Chinedu Ogah must be a myopic individual to suggest that all Governors from South East Geo-Political zone decamp to APC. What is the need for having a government without opposition? Nigerian politicians are so, so useless. They think they talking to kids. Sorry for this nation with a great potential.

No way Oga! The southeast governors need not decamp to APC before they can feel the federal presence. All they need do is to form a coalition and present their cases to the President for consideration bearing in mind that it's for the betterment of the masses in their geopolitical zone
