Super Eagles have finally been paid their outstanding allowances and bonuses via e-payment.
The new system sees electronic payment replace the previous cash payment method.
“The players and officials have received their monies via e-payment,” revealed a top source.
As first reported, the Eagles outstanding bonuses for a home win over Swaziland in a 2018 World Cup qualifier in November are to be cleared to lift their confidence for today’s must-win match against Egypt.
Egypt are top of the qualifying group for the AFCON with only the group winners guaranteed automatic qualification for Gabon 2017.
Nigeria and Tanzania are on four points each, while Chad are bottom without any points.
