UNILAG student with 5.0 CGPA is about to be evicted from his home over rent - Freeze

Controversial Cool FM OAP, Freeze took to his Instagram page to write about Ayodele Daniel Dada, the UNILAG student who got a 5.0 CGPA, revealing that the student is about to be evicted from his home and asked people to come to his aide.

He thinks he deserves a home, a car from Innoson and endorsement from any of the telecommunication companies.

Read his thoughts below

Dear comrades, THE PARADIGM HAS SHIFTED! The 'oil bubble' has burst and a new bubble is about to be birthed. It's the #MadeInNigeria bubble and if we don't tap into it now, we would miss out of the biggest opportunity of this generation. The black gold that used to be was our nation's financial backbone doesn't command the price it once did. It's a new dawn and the perfect time to look inward and drill another type of 'black Gold'. It's time to invest our 'intellectual capital' and grow our human resource potential. Until we realize out inherent capability we cannot utilize it, and to realize it, we have to invest in education, industriousness and innovation. Ayodele Daniel Dada is the 1st Nigerian in 54years to get a perfect CGPA. My question is, how do we encourage him, and most importantly channel the minds of the forthcoming generation into the realization that our intellectual ability is the driving force behind innovation, which in itself is our greatest asset? How do we dissuade the next generation from the teachings of many pastors, who 'Barnum' them, by selling the idea of a ready made financial miracle, for 10% of their current income? How do we encourage them to stay back and build Nigeria instead of running overseas, further depleting our 'intellectual economy'? Despite all Ayodele's potential, he is about to be evicted from his home @sujimoto81 need you! Dear Senator Bruce, you often speak about #MadeInNigeria. Let us develop him so he won't be stolen from us by the intellectual poachers of the western world. Innoson, please give this man a car. If you can win a car at the headies for singing skibirobisko, I believe he should be awarded one too MTN, GLO, ETISALAT and AIRTEL you give Multi Million Naira endorsements to Musicians whose songs quite often possess Questionable Lyrics and Encourage a 'Poverty Mindset' please endorse this gentleman. Governor Fayose, leave APC and Buhari for a few minutes and attend to Ayodele who is from your state (Ekiti). Please put the might of your office behind him and he would make your state proud! I have begun to live the change I preach. I will put whatever little power I have, behind @ayodeledanieldada. ~FRZ

  5. To make good sense of reactivating enbracement of academic excellence, you don't have to be sectional. There are other students who have such excellence. Even though not exactly 5.0 but within the range of 4.5 - 5.0 and some their highest never go beyond 4.49 even if the guy is admitted into such departments. So, generalize whatever you are requesting for. Also, academic excellence and celebrity distinguishing are both social orientation, you don't have to look at it in a way that a bread seller promoted to celebrity doesn't worth enbracement, it depends on your interests, diversify portfolios are what other countries built to excel not sectional. So, all should embrace their choices and interests and find something to do. And also remember, 4.5 in STEM - engineerin, science, maths and technology is not the same sweat as 5.0 in social fields. His excellence worth celebration but generalize it by picking ranges of 1st - 3rd best in each dept and celebrate them than 1 sectional grade. 1 lead does not make a tree.

  6. Let's start from somewhere, you cannot pick everyone in the bracket you mentioned at the same time.

  7. We must all celebrate the success of Mr. Ayodele Dada in order to encourage our youths to face the challenges in our country. The success is unique and worthy of celebration for those who appreciate what it takes to be self disciplined. Ayodele has demonstrated to fellow Nigerians and the outside world that he is capable of doing what others could not do. He should therefore be further encouraged to pursue higher course of studies in order for him to excel and move farther in life. A comparison of Dada's success with that of the bread seller portrays a wrong comparison! Dada's success is academic and that of the bread seller is pure blessings. Dada has an objective in life to excel and to lead by making available enough time to concentrate on his studies. The bread seller did not have such objective but what nature has made for her unknowingly and accorded her in a surprise and unexpected way! They both deserve special honour because such unique opportunities are not available to every Dick and Harry. Nature has done wonders in the bread sellers life, while academic pursuit has helped Mr. Ayedele Dada.

  9. Life! I gbadun the last comment. He chose dt course, studied it and excelled. That is a wonderful feat and the government on Nigeria, Ekiti and Lagos states should celebrate that guy. It is not surprising though; Nigeria is a country where we sacrifice excellence for mediocrity.
How can anyone be comparing such academic excellent to the serendipitous rise to fame of a bread seller?
The writer of this post is on point jare. Good one.
