Usman Bugaje, one of the lead speakers at the Northern Leaders’ Conference has raised a controversial issue on the ownership of Nigeria’s crude oil domiciled majorly in the Niger Delta region.
According to him, it is wrong for any state to claim that it is oil producing because 72% of the total land mass in the country belonged to the North and that by the United Nation’s law; it is only the North that actually has the right to claim ownership.
Dr. Bugaje, in his presentation, insisted that “there are no oil producing states.” He argued that “the only oil producing state is the Nigerian state itself.” Click to signup for FREE news updates, latest information and hottest gists everyday

This is a very wrong conception worthy of causing regional strife. I hope someone can call Bugaje to order. He needs to stop living in dreamland and stop confusing upcoming northern youth.
ReplyDeleteImagine this HE goat, that is why this country cannot move ahead. What kind of mentality does someone like this have to claim ownership of oil producing land for the north. Don't this oil will soon finish one day....you have 72% of the land in Nigeria and you still depending on the south? Marginalizing them and drawing thw whole country back through your Boko Haram plot? Wait Boko is not yet over....
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahhhahajahahhahaha. Where u jump out from. Are u agent of Satan that wants to cause problem Where there is none or them send u.This is a mad man why take his words to media. Gerarahere my friend
ReplyDeleteHe has gone mad, let somebody put him in chains.
ReplyDeleteI foretold that we should expect more and more shockers from this regretably useless APC Government...So, now that power has reached their hands, how to rewrite history is what they are thinking of...Well,the end will justify the means...As events are unfolding...
ReplyDeleteOk we heard you. You are the only man that understand united nation's law. What an inciting message from a dull mentality!
ReplyDeleteThe same way some of you encouraged boko haram. Carry go!
ReplyDeleteIt's a shame that this is one of d foolish man d north can produce.
ReplyDeleteMAD man Bujaje. The end of Nigeria is coming soon, keep telling your people it belong to you time will tell.
ReplyDeleteIt is is terrible and regrettable that some people are only looking for a way to create confusion in this country called Nigeria . Some people cannot do without stealing because to them their actions (stealing) sounds genuine. So the madness has got to the level of the North claiming the ownership of the oil in South.

ReplyDeleteBuhari won't say anything - he agrees with them.
Delete...and the presidency kept mute over a sensitive issue like this? This APC and Buhari...
ReplyDeleteThis is just insanity and sheer stupidity. I weep for Nigeria!
ReplyDeleteWe call it insanity but they are busy working the script before our very eyes. They divided us along party lines and we pretened that the appointments are in order.
ReplyDeleteThe south and minority has played into their hands and only God can deliver us.
God bless you. At least there are a few Nigerians who understand the game plan of this people. If only we can pray I foil their plots
DeleteOle! Oloshi! Oyeoshi! And Barawo! It is because the south had become so divided that northerns like this have the guts to spew out crap. He should go to the Niger Delta and spill these lies he knowd he is not a thief. BARAWO BANKI!
ReplyDeleteThis man is a shameless theif, so also the people clapping for him. If they are so sure about their ownership they should be bold enough to walk into 'house in niger delta' and stake the same claim. I dare them.
ReplyDeleteSouthern leaders conference had better wake from their stupid slumber abd counter that crap. This is how civil war begins...but then again if that is the answer maybe we should all prepare for the inevitable. God save Nigeria!
