The IG made this disclosure at the Police sniffer-dogs inauguration of the Police Dog Breeding Centre and Ultra Modern Mounted Troop in Abuja on Thursday.
“This is certainly not sustainable in the face of the current dwindling resources,” Arase said.
He added that so much money was being spent on the importation of dogs from foreign countries that rarely adapt to the country's policing objectives.

Haba! Wonder shall never end, Where are the dogs? Is these few ones they occasionally use for display? This amount can provide dogs of reasonable numbers to major police formation across the stated. It is laughable. Did they say is for up keep of the dogs for how long? Howany of this Fohs ste they talking about? Did they pay special fees for training them and why?
