Nigeria international, Alex Iwobi, has confirmed his readiness to face Egypt in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier after recovering from food poisoning.
Iwobi was unavailable to join his team mates in the first and last training sessions in Abuja as a result of food poisoning he suffered on Monday.
But the 19-year-old Arsenal product has come out to allay fears.
He wrote on his Twitter handle: “Had the maddest food poisoning but I am good now and feeling ready for the Egyptian match.”
Coach Samson Siasia earlier confirmed that Iwobi has recovered from the food poisoning and will be fit to play.
